SBEM_Calculations is sometimes referred to as SBEM Rating, SBEM Calc, SBEM Calcs, SBEM Calculations, Brukl Part L, SBEM Assessment.
It is a requirement to submit your SBEM Ratings at the same time as your Building Control Application.
Does this automatically mean more pressure if you're developing commercial buildings?
That needn't be the case if you have suitable professional support. E2 Consultants in Perranporth WILL provide you with that support. Many of our clients in Perranporth are longstanding. We pride ourselves on building professional relationships based on our excellent customer service and delivery of service. We communicate at all levels and have an established record within the building services industry. If you have a deadline, we will endeavour to supply you with a calculation within your required timescale.
For new buildings an initial SBEM Ratings is carried out at design stage to confirm that specifications such as insulations, heating, lighting and air conditioning systems are suitable. For shell developments a number of assumptions for building services will need to be made and agreed with building control. When the construction of the building is complete an as built SBEM assessment is produced. This will usually include the result of an air permeability test, buildings less than 500m2 may not require a test.
Call one of our consultants on 01752 687 017 or email perranporth@e2consultants.co.uk and we will be happy to answer any queries or provide you with a formal quotation.
Our experienced consultants are equipped and qualified to undertake any type of building in Perranporth and anywhere in UK, no matter how complex or diverse a structure. In addition to SBEM Ratings we can also carry out Thermal modelling to show detailed analysis of new or existing buildings. This will establish precise information to ensure that the building envelope is designed to reduce solar gain and improve energy efficiency thus reducing energy consumption and capital costs. Energy Performance Certificates can also be produced from these calculations.
