Mercedes Benz Air Test
E2 Consultants were asked to carry out a commercial air test on a prestigious new Mercedes Benz dealership in Cheshire Oaks.
A digital model of the building was produced by our admin department from drawings provided by the client. This was checked on site to ensure it was accurate. Should there have been any deviations, these would have to be noted and corrected before a certificate could be issued.
All ventilation was sealed externally by the customer in preparation for the test, as per our pre-site set-up notes. These were checked for their air integrity before the test began.
All shutter doors incorporated full rubber draft seals around the frames. A three fan hard door set-up was used with tape around the door frames to ensure they were air tight.
Finally, the test results were checked on site and it turned out the building was way below the target score of 5m3/(h*m2)@50pa.
Due to the excellent result, no further investigation was required.
